The initial recording platform set up using this page and a deployment of the Ushahidi software was successful, but needed to be scaled up to be more effective.
The mantle for this project has been taken over by the Cameroon Atrocity Database at the University of Toronto, with an improved version of the Ushahidi platform. The individual reports are securely stored and are verified where possible by internal researchers, Amnesty International’s Digital Verification Corps, and collaborating academic partners.
